VMC Machine Operator

Knowledge in operating VMC machine  or conventional milling

machine

·        Operate VMC machines for machining components as per drawings and specifications

·        Perform machine setup, tool selection, tool offset setting, and job loading

·        Read and interpret engineering drawings,

GD&T symbols, and process sheets

·        Conduct in-process and final inspection using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge)

·        Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per quality standards

·        Make minor program edits at machine

level (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi – preferred)

·        Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities

·        Maintain production records, job cards, and quality documentation

·        Follow 5S, safety, and ISO quality

standards

·        Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet daily targets
