Role OverviewVanalok is seeking a creative and skilled Web Developer & Digital Content Executive to design, develop, and manage our website, applications, and digital platforms. The role involves building responsive and visually engaging websites and apps, managing content, optimizing SEO, and ensuring strong performance, security, and usability across devices.

• Key Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in website and app development, coding, and content management
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and responsive design frameworks
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and performance optimization
• Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Joomla, or Drupal
• Practical knowledge of SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Yoast, SEMrush, etc.)
• Experience managing organizational or conference websites, including event pages, registrations, schedules, and live updates
• Basic graphic design and layout skills using Canva, Figma, Adobe XD (optional but preferred)
• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain a modern, responsive website aligned with Vanalok’s mission and programs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, PHP, and related technologies
• Design and build mobile-friendly websites and applications optimized for multiple devices and browsers
• Manage website hosting, domains, backups, security, and uptime
• Implement and manage CMS platforms and website databases
• Plan and execute SEO and SEM strategies to improve visibility and search rankings
• Create dedicated web pages for events, international conferences, and projects
• Integrate blogs, videos, social media feeds, and event registration forms
• Regularly update website content including news, reports, media, and publications
• Monitor website analytics and generate performance and traffic reports
• Ensure website accessibility, security, data privacy, and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug website and application issues
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies, UI/UX trends, and best practices
• Collaborate with communication and project teams for timely digital updates
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Director or organization as required
