We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wire Cut Operator / CNC EDM Operator to set up and operate Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) and CNC EDM machines for precision machining of metal parts. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of reading engineering drawings, machine settings, and EDM programming.

• Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate Wire EDM and CNC EDM machines (e.g., Mitsubishi, Makino, Charmilles, or equivalent).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
• Perform machine programming and select appropriate electrodes and tools.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure accurate and high-quality output.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area.
• Measure finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.).
• Ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Record production data and maintain process documentation.
• Coordinate with the design and quality team for improvements and troubleshooting.
• Requirements:Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die / CNC Machining or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Wire Cut and/or CNC EDM operations.
• Knowledge of machine settings, offsets, and tool path programming.
• Proficient in EDM software and G-code interpretation.
• Familiarity with different metals and workpiece materials.
• Ability to work independently and follow job orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Preferred Skills:Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Mastercam, or SolidWorks).
• Understanding of ISO standards and quality inspection procedures.
• Basic knowledge of EDM machining parameters like spark gap, feed rate, etc.
