What you will be doing:
Mid-Level Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Engineer
- This role is responsible for developing and optimizing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components to enhance Arrow Digital’s customer-focused digital experience. The ideal candidate has strong web development experience, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AEM components, ensuring reusability and adherence to Adobe best practices.
- Configure AEM templates, workflows, site structures, and dispatcher settings, supporting both development and production environments. Work with AEM as a Cloud Service to optimize performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot AEM authoring and QA issues, providing technical support to business teams. Collaborate with system administrators on deployments, upgrades, and performance optimizations.
- Ensure AEM integrations with Adobe CJA Analytics and Adobe Launch are properly implemented.
- Maintain thorough technical documentation for components and configurations. Follow Agile development processes and update project management tools with task progress. Stay up to date with AEM best practices, security guidelines, SEO, accessibility, and UX standards.
What we are looking for :
- 6+ years of total development experience, with at least 3+ years working with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
- Strong understanding of AEM core technologies (Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR/CRX, AEM Workflows, AEM Dispatcher).
- Experience with HTL (Sightly), responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Java, ReactJS, NextJS, and NodeJS (SSR knowledge is a plus).
- Understanding of AEM security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Exposure to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of DevOps principles and version control (Git). Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- AEM Developer Certification is a plus.
