Analyst (A1) - GDC DES-I

 Roles & responsibilities 
Perform thorough technical and Functional testing for various applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements.
Demonstrate strong documentation skills to document notes, exceptions, and address comments/review notes from internal and external reviewers.
Collaborate effectively with the team to understand requirements and meet stipulated deadlines and ensure a smooth testing process.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to support testing activities.

Capable of debugging the PySpark and SQL code.

Ensure the quality and reliability of the applications by conducting rigorous testing and validation processes.. 
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed
Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Accounting and Auditing knowledge / Experience in software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts
Functional and Technical  testing and good knowledge of software development life cycle 
Experience in SQL, PySpark/Python, Power BI and Alteryx
Excellent documentation skills

Preferred technical & functional skills 
Experience with the KPMG Clara workflow or any other enterprise solutions like SAP ,Oracle etc.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
Aware of JIRA/Confluence.

Educational qualifications 
Bachelor of Engineering 
Work experience
1-3 years of work experience in relevant discipline
Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing testing domain/ GDC experience of at least a year is preferred .
