API Test Engineer

Job Description

• Design, develop, and executeAPI test casesbased on business and technical requirements.
• Performfunctional, regression, integration, and performance testingof APIs.
• Use tools likePostman, SoapUI, REST-assured, Karate, or JMeterfor API validation.
• Automate API test cases and integrate them intoCI/CD pipelinesusing tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Validate API responses, status codes, headers, and payloads for accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage and quality.
• Log and track defects using tools likeJIRA, TestRail, or ALM.
• Prepare test reports and provide feedback to stakeholders.
