What would you do? The Application Automation Engineering Analyst is a critical role within our organization, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that power our supply chain operations. This position requires a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software that meets our clients needs. You will be part of the Technology for Operations team that acts as a trusted advisor and partner to Accenture Operations. The team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. We work closely with the sales, offering and delivery teams to identify and build innovative solutions. The Tech For Operations (TFO) team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. Works closely with the sales, offering and delivery teams to identify and build innovative solutions. Major sub deals include AHO(Application Hosting Operations), ISMT (Infrastructure Management), Intelligent Automation The team leverages Automation in Application Development methodology to drive automation implementation in AD projects including implementation of automation for reducing effort across all development lifecycle phases, designing, assembling, and implementing an automation solution involving a combination of DevOps, test automation, AI, custom automation for improving productivity, quality and decision making in requirements analysis, estimation, design, build, test and deploy.
What are we looking for? • 3+ years of professional experience as a software developer, with a focus on software design and development. • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript). • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices. • Experience with database design and development, including SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). • Familiarity with front-end and back-end technologies, frameworks, and libraries. • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools. • Agile development experience, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies, is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Supply chain or logistics industry knowledge is advantageous but not required. • Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of lower-complexity problems • Your day to day interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors • In this role you may have limited exposure with clients and/or Accenture management • You will be given moderate level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments • The decisions you make impact your own work and may impact the work of others • You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and solutions using industry-standard programming languages and technologies. • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather and clarify software requirements. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and debug and resolve software defects and issues. • Design and optimize database schemas, write SQL queries, and manage database interactions. • Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories and collaborate with team members. • Work in an Agile development environment, participating in Scrum ceremonies and delivering software in iterations. • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including technical specifications and user manuals. • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software reliability and quality. • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize software for scalability. • Follow secure coding practices and contribute to security measures in software development. • Keep abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in software development.
