The SAP Plant Maintenance Senior Consultant is responsible for end to end design, configuration, and delivery of SAP PM solutions across implementation, rollout, and support engagements. The role requires strong functional expertise in asset management, maintenance planning, and execution, along with experience in SAP S/4HANA, cross module integration, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP PM design and configuration aligned to business maintenance processes including:
o Breakdown, Preventive, Corrective, Refurbishment, Calibration, and Condition Based Maintenance
Own PM organizational structure setup (Maintenance Plant, Planning Plant, Work Centers, Control Keys)
Drive best practices in maintenance strategy definition and optimization
Design and govern PM master data:
o Functional Locations (hierarchies)
o Equipment and sub equipment
o Bills of Materials (BOMs)
o Measuring Points & Counters
o Task Lists (General, Equipment, FL)
Ensure data quality, governance, and mass data upload strategies (LTMC / Fiori / legacy tools)

Configure and manage:
o Maintenance Plans (Single Cycle, Strategy based, Multiple Counter)
o Maintenance Items and Call Objects
Support long term and short term maintenance scheduling, resource planning, and backlog management
Enable analytics and KPIs for maintenance performance monitoring.
Shutdown Enablement is must requirement from client side.
Drive seamless integration with:
o SAP MM (spare parts, procurement, external services)
o SAP FI/CO (order settlement, cost tracking)
o SAP QM (calibration, inspection integration)
Support SAP S/4HANA PM innovations including Fiori apps and mobile maintenance
Lead requirement gathering workshops and convert business needs into functional specifications (RICEFW)
Support testing cycles (UT, SIT, UAT), cutover, and hypercare.
Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior consultants
Act as the primary PM SME for client stakeholders and business users
Strong hands on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA PM
Deep understanding of maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management
Experience in functional design, configuration, and deployment.

Experience & Qualifications, Soft Skills
10–12+ years of SAP PM experience across Implementation / Rollout / Support projects
Experience working in manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, chemicals, or asset intensive industries
SAP PM or SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred
Strong communication and client facing skills
Analytical and problem solving mindset
Ability to work with cross functional and global teams
Leadership and mentoring capability
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
