what you will do :-

Responsibilities:

Digital Transformation and Analytics (DT&A):

Mission is to advise, design, deploy digital solutions and enable HPE Operations to efficiently consistent, unparalleled customer experience.

Advanced Planning Systems CoE, Part of Strategic Sourcing and Planning (SSP) Solutions:

We are chartered to drive actionable insights, enable system capabilities, innovate with modeling/AI and manage ongoing supply chain planning operations centered around o9 solutions for Planning and allied customer cum supplier facing organizations within HPE Operations.

We aim to enable faster & better revenue / customer experience/ cost / cash flow decisions through business diagnostics, data / decision science innovation and implementing system forecasting, planning and analytics.

We partner with o9, HPE IT and with DT&A to provide e2e digital solution capabilities. We deliver excellence through organizing as Solution Leads, Development-Delivery, Business Operations and CoE effectiveness

This position is stakeholder facing with overall expectations as below:

  • Understand / drive discovery of problems and requests / be aware of existing capabilities
  • Architect / high level solution-ize directly and-or with CoE/ DT&A / IT / o9
  • Front-face problem solving and delivery life cycle
  • Be hands-on in data analyses, design, technical development and emerging technologies
  • Participate/ partner in sustaining and innovating for CoE effectiveness as part of the larger HPE & HPE’s partner ecosystem

Responsibilities in context of SSP goals include:

  • Lead in discovery existing and evolving processes, tools, documentation, communication and leadership reviews/updates
  • Lead benefits analyses for delivered solutions
  • Be hands-on and creative in the problem solving journey using o9, PBI, automation, AI, presentations through demos/mock-ups, POCs, data gaps, user story gaps, simulations/scenarios, alternative approaches and final solution
  • Be hands-on and creative in actively communicating progress, translating requirements to solutions and enabling progress
  • Work seamlessly across geographies and cultures
  • Contribute to broader organizational goals and CoE think-tank: experimenting emerging technologies & techniques, partnering across for industry class internal / external recognitions
  • Collaborate / Educate / Train / Share knowledge & expertise from & to peers; from or to users
  • Continuously learn – domain, modeling, technology, consultative approach, communication and so on

what you need to bring :

Experience, Exposure, Education expectations

  • Post-Graduate Degree in statistics, math, operations research or management
  • Experience to supply chain domain, solving supply chain problems, APS solution implementation and driving at least two kinds of innovation from forecasting, network optimization inventory optimization, embedding AI in operations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in dealing with large data sets, modeling/analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques using one of R, Python
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS EXCEL
  • Exposure to data analytics, visualization and deployment ecosystem (eg. Vertica, Hadoop, Spark with Python/ Scala, SQL, Qlik/Power BI)
  • Strong English Language written & verbal skills
