Roles & responsibilities
KPMG GDC Audit Capability Hub (ACH) Quality Management Program (AQMP) is a targeted learning and coaching program designed to enhance the capabilities of ACH professionals , ensuring quality of work delivered by the professionals is in alignment with KPMG US audit methodology. This program leverages competency-based feedback fostering continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards across ACH service delivery models (ACH BU, ACH CAS, AMDC)..
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform reviews of end to end business and other processes including planning and substantive procedures, understanding and reviewing of , controls, journal entries and other audit work delivered by ACH professionals, following an established quality framework.
Engage into discussion with the ACH professionals and conduct inquiries, seek clarifications and gather necessary information for the purpose of the reviews.
Communicate review results to ACH professionals in one-on-one coaching sessions in a time bound manner.
Assist in implementing training and other programs based on common observations to improve audit quality.
Report to KPMG GDC and KPMG US leadership periodically on the results of the reviews.
. Stay informed about KPMG audit methodology updates, relevant PCAOB and AICPA standards and other developments relevant to the audit.
Driving and fostering culture of innovation and leading transformative solutions such as automation, advanced analytics and process enhancements to drive continuous quality improvements.

Mandatory technical & functional skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI is beneficial.
Strong project management and communication skills to proactively communicate issues, solutions and progress.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage review of multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
Key behavioral attributes/requirements
Ability to confidently communicate observations and issues and lead meetings, calls, and group discussions and communicate effectively in one-on-one coaching sessions with the professionals under review.
Strong audit experience, agile and quick learner with ability to familiarize with KPMG audit methodology and upholding KPMG's standards of Ethics and Confidentiality.
Communicate with a wide range of individuals internally and collaborate with team to conduct and provide necessary trainings as part of audit quality improvement initiatives.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
CA or CPA (shall hold active membership/license)
Work experience
Extensive experience in conducting integrated audits in accordance with AICPA and PCAOB auditing standards, preferably with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in a Big 4 firm in a client facing role
Experience with audit quality initiatives and audit quality monitoring programs
Is in the role of Manager for at least two busy seasons and signed off workpapers in that capacity.
