Role : DB Cloud Architect

Who are we looking for?

DB & Cloud professional with experience in Cloud DB solutions, Design, support operations and perform opportunity triage, and coordinate with clients the details of the solution. Has expertise in one or more Public Cloud provider & Database technologies and can embed these capabilities into existing or new cloud-based infrastructure & Database solutions. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing technology to enable go to market strategies. 13+ years of Industry experience with 3-5 Years in Technical Architect role

Key Responsibilities:

 Architect cloud-based Database & Infrastructure solution proposal and support client business development.

 Spearheaded Cloud Lifecycle from understanding the Business Case to Implementation / Migration to any of the cloud platforms.

 Should understand the complexities involved in integrating the various modules, functionalities supported, customer requirements compliance etc.

 Identify key customer requirements, seek clarifications, understanding compliance and SLA requirements, envisage high-level solution and work with the SME to come out with the efforts involved for its implementation.

 Solution Architecture, Professional services SOW design and Service Offering Scoping/Project Definition

 Architecting Database & Infrastructure solutions on Azure, AWS & and DC infrastructure

Technical Experience:

 Experience in Assessing, Designing, Planning, and Implementing enterprise grade Public cloud-based solution and platform.

 Understanding of IT infrastructure including OS, Storage and multiple database technologies, including SQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases.

 Should possess solid understanding of 3 tier Application hosting on public Cloud, with conceptual knowledge on Data flow , Data Engineering and Data security.

 Hands-on experience with database migration strategies and tools like AWS DMS, Azure Database Migration Service, etc

 Experience with Datacenter technologies (Wintel/VMware, Linux, Server hardware)

 Experience in implementing Azure / AWS/ GCP based designs from greenfield to upliftment.

 Strong understanding of all Cloud services for one Cloud platform.

 Understanding of Migrations and upliftment

Process Skills:

 Should have led at least 2-3 large size transformational projects as technology architect.

 Performed consultative engagements independently like environmental assessments/estate wide remediation plan.

 Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement.

 Excellent client / customer relationship management skills at the executive level

 Extensive client / customer service management skills

 Good people management skills

Certification:

 Graduate or equivalent degree in IT related field.

 Database specialty certifications are a plus (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Certified Database – Specialty)

 Associate certification in at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) is a plus
