Job Title: Technical Solutions Expert

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the IS&T D&IS Software Engineering Solutions, you will be in charge of developing and maintaining the Software Engineering platforms mainly based on Artifactory, XWiki and Gitlab and you will act as a control tower to ensure overall consistency on its applicative landscape.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

Describe here main information such as accountabilities, authorities, performance measurements …etc.

• Contribute to all phases of the application lifecycle from definition, architecture, design trough implementation, debugging, testing and early support
• Provide technical and domain expertise on complex topics
• Participate in requirements gathering and specifications creation
• Lead technical design and architecture
• Maintain technical solution referential & design documentation
• Support operations teams with regards to critical and complex incidents
• Control quality of partners deliverables
• Develop, change and improve processes
• Manage application security vulnerabilities
• Build best practices on development activities and continuous improvement
• Contribute to tower roadmap and lead technical POC

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements Describe the minimum educational requirement/level

Mandatory:

Graduated from an engineering degree, preferably in information technology

Experience Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role

Mandatory:

More than 5 years of experience in Artifactory Administration.

Competencies & Skills Describe the needed skills (technical & behavioral)

• Solid knowledge on business processes (development, configuration, build and release management)
• Worked for global companies either as a service provider or as a customer, ideally both roles
• General knowledge on IT infrastructure systems: Azure, virtualization, server, database, network and storage
• Deep technical knowledge on the Artifactory Administration and Troubleshooting.
• Develop scripts in Bash, Python, and Groovy for debugging and automating
• Experience in Linux , Databases , NGINX , Apache Tomcat.
• Troubleshoot and Investigate complex CI/CD scenarios and provide innovative solutions for the concerns/requests raised.
• Strong developments skills on several languages, particularly Java and Python
• Skills in system administration: Linux and Windows
• Experienced in home-made application development in various development language and technologies
• Good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity
• Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
