About Goldman Sachs Marketing
Led by the firm’s first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs (GS) has been fueled by momentum and an imperative to unify the discipline, codifying a business-critical function seen as core to the firm’s future growth. As such, GS has built a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of key Centre of Excellence roles in areas such as Brand, Paid Media, and Content Marketing, as well as establishing marketing leads for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this team collaborates to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.
Within the Global Marketing function sits the Asset Management Marketing team, responsible for end-to-end marketing strategies and programs for the entirety of the business. Working across public markets, alternative and external investing strategies, the team leads messaging strategy, content creation, digital marketing, and marketing analytics. A new Global Head of Marketing for Asset Management joined in early 2022.

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical analyst to join the Analytics & Insights team. This role will play a key part in driving business growth by leveraging data-driven insights to help make more informed decisions. The ideal candidate will partner closely with our Engineering, UX, Sales Enablement and Marketing teams to provide strategic recommendations.
Position Responsibilities
- Data-Driven Strategies: Deep understanding of the stages of the marketing funnel to effectively create a measurement framework aligning marketing tactics to business objectives.
- Reporting: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to track and review overall performance, while creating strategic recommendations regarding how to improve awareness, consideration and conversion. Ideal candidate should be comfortable with reporting across different platforms (e.g., email, social media, events, etc.).
- Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis and create customized reports to support stakeholders across Asset Management.
- Segmentation: Leverage data to refine audience targeting strategies for personalization with segments in close partnership with Sales and marketing teams.
- Experiment: Develop an optimization (e.g., A/B test) plan in partnership with Engineering, UX and Marketing teams.
- Documentation: Maintain a consistent business requirements doc (BRD) and solution design ref (SDR) doc for all websites.
- Competitive Market Awareness: Track and communicate competitive trends in the market when sharing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Internal Partner: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies to enhance results in alignment with business objectives.
- Seek Value-Add Opportunities: Constantly raise tactical and strategic improvement opportunities to drive value across the firm.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or a related field
- At least one year of experience, preferably in Financial Services
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to stakeholders of varying levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Web SDK, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Target, Alteryx, and SQL preferred
