In addition, Operations provide essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched, or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develop the processes and controls that make business flow.
Portfolio Accounting and Recon team primary responsibility is to ensure clients positions and portfolio information are updated and reflected in the client account. Client’s position is compared against firmwide system, team identifies and remediates any discrepancies. For trading, client and Reg reporting, it is important that clients’ positions are accurately represented.
YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking a professional who has a good understanding of Accounting and Reconciliation including Billing and payables. This role requires you to manage conversations with PWAs for portfolio updates and manage strategic projects to uplift our platforms partnering with the Engineering, Business, Products team. This position offers the opportunity to mitigate the risks at the firm while collaborating with colleagues across the Business, Operations and Compliance divisions.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSBILITIES
- Displaying a strong ability to influence the Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) Business by partnering with them on any portfolio updates and setting right expectations for better client experience
- Develop relationships with PWM business teams, PWM Compliance, PWM Legal, and other Operations groups to ensure that PWM Operations is providing the highest quality.
- Engage in opportunities to review processes, analyze information, make decisions and recommendations and implement and monitor procedures.
- Lead and/or participated in strategic initiatives to uplift our platforms and processes, and in business planning sessions to forecast resourcing needs for the team or business unit.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant experience in Reconciliation, Payables, post trade processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of risk assessment and Metrics
- Innovative with ability to drive change
- Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience.
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects, have strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure, manage high volumes, and collaborate with a global team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
