Shift : Rotational (24X7), Shift timings are expected to be as follows and may change based on business needs.

•6:30 AM – 3:00 PM •9:30 AM – 6:00 PM •2:00 PM – 10:30 PM •6:00 PM – 2:30 AM •10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Summary

As Assistant Manager Operation (AM), you will be responsible for leading and managing the Administrative Services team in KGS for US member firm. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, stakeholder management, and people management skills. They should be able to monitor projects, ensure smooth operations, empower team members, manage stakeholder expectations, address escalations, and prioritize work. A robust character, able to remain calm under pressure, confident and self-motivated initiating action to improve service to the business.

 

Service Delivery and People

•Oversees the team who performs the execution and delivery of the in-scope Administrative Services tasks within Clients’ ASK function •Manage the efficient and effective delivery of day-to-day administrative support services in a virtual support model, which includes aspects of performance management such as attendance, balancing workloads/schedules •Develop and maintain networks within the Practice Group and across KPMG •Encourages and supports the identification of continuous improvement initiatives such as automation, procedural enhancements, and quality improvements •Collaborates within cross-functional departments to share best practices related to service delivery, team leadership, and reporting

Customer Service

•Brings a customer centric focus to the role and act as the first point of escalation to ensure high levels of Client satisfaction •Assists the ASK Manager in cultivating productive relationships between operational teams, functional, and program related stakeholders •Effectively communicates with the Client to understand any changes to Client’s departmental policies, processes and procedures, and implement affected changes  

Technical Skills

•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite •Exposure in automating reports VBA, Macro etc •Exposure in creating and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Advance Excel, ServiceNow etc.

•Excellent / strong English communication skills (written and spoken) •Attention to detail and a high degree of organization •Must be creative and self-motivated •A professional and organized approach to work and a strong team player •Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a team •Working to strict deadlines and flexibility in time management •Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time with different managers and proactively communicate progress of projects •Drive and commitment to deliver a high-quality service to the KPMG network •Comfort with wide variety of cultural differences and skill sets and ability to work a flexible schedule to interact with colleagues in other time zones around the world •Understand and be able to articulate the strategic direction and objectives

Education / professional qualifications

Education

•Bachelor's degree (BBA, BCom, or equivalent) from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college. •MBA (desirable)  

Prior Experience

•8-10 years of experience in people and process management, with at least 3 years in a back-office environment.
