Assistant Manager
Job Title: Azure DevOps & AKS Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps & AKS Engineer to join our cloud engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps & CI/CD Automation
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Implement secure DevOps practices, including code validation, automated testing, and release management.
- Maintain hosted and self-hosted agents using Azure VMs and VMSS.
AKS & Container Orchestration
- Deploy and manage AKS clusters for containerized applications.
- Build and maintain Docker containers, ensuring security and performance.
- Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Prometheus/Grafana.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and PowerShell.
- Automate provisioning of Azure resources including VMs, storage accounts, networking, and RBAC roles.
Security & Governance
- Enforce RBAC policies and integrate AKS with Azure AD.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards for backup, disaster recovery, and tagging.
Operational Excellence
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud platform services.
- Participate in cost optimization and performance tuning of AKS clusters.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps, AKS, and Docker.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools: Terraform, ARM, Bicep.
- Familiarity with Azure services: App Services, Logic Apps, Storage, Azure AD.
- Experience with monitoring tools and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305).
- Experience with GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, and Azure Artifacts.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and multi-region deployments.
- Knowledge of SQL Server migrations and Azure SQL PaaS.

Job Title: Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer (Nerdio Manager Experience Preferred)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer with hands-on experience in managing Azure Virtual Machines and Nerdio Manager for Enterprise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure virtual desktop environments, optimizing performance and cost, and supporting end-user onboarding and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AVD environments tailored to user personas and application requirements.
- Configure host pools, session hosts, and FSLogix profile containers.
- Manage AVD lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and patching operations.
- Administer Nerdio Manager for Enterprise for automation, scaling, and monitoring of AVD resources.
- Utilize Nerdio’s features for cost optimization, auto-scaling, and self-healing.
- Maintain pool-profile mappings and execute bulk operations for patching and machine state management.
- Provision and manage VMs across various tiers (general purpose, compute optimized, memory optimized).
- Ensure compliance with KPMG’s technology standards and security controls.
- Monitor performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Nexthink.
- Implement role-based access controls and network security configurations.
- Collaborate with InfoSec teams to ensure compliance with global and local standards.
- Manage API permissions and service principal configurations for secure integrations.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide timely resolution via Nerdio and Azure tools.
- Create and maintain documentation, including onboarding guides and operational wikis.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams on AVD and Nerdio processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Virtual Machines.
- Hands-on expertise with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise in production or PoC environments.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, FSLogix, Intune, and automation pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, and ServiceNow workflows.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications in Azure (AZ-140, AZ-104, etc.).
- Experience with cost optimization strategies and usage analytics.
- Prior exposure to enterprise-scale AVD deployments and multi-region configurations.
