Assistant Manager

The position in discussion is with the Risk Services team, part of our KGS Consulting team.

Roles & responsibilities

As a Assistant Manager in the Managed Services Regulatory & Financial reporting team, your responsibilities will be working with team of consultants and associate consultants for executing projects on behalf of international KPMG teams and clients (onshore teams). In addition, you will be required to:

Strong background in US Regulatory reporting with banking product knowledge and strong finance knowledge(Must)Experience preparing regulatory reporting schedules including the FR Call report , Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, FFIEC 009 and FR Y-11 , FR 2314(Must)Preferred toolset experience with Axiom and Workiva(Must)Lead on a large engagement led by a Manager/Sr. manager and be the1st level escalation for issues/concernsManage engagement delivery and work in collaboration with onshore/offshore teamSchedule and facilitate requirements meetings (agenda, meeting minutes, action items)Undertake new regulation analysis assessments/hypothesis-based impact analyses for the US regulatory space, based on specific criteriaHave in depth subject matter knowledgeGather and analyze client business/functional requirements and understand client’s requirements from proposed solutionLead/contribute to team wide initiativeMentor team members and guide to achieve the project goalsGood understanding of the service offering of the service network/ lineMaintain a strong relationship with stakeholders by having regular calls with them to understand their existing and potential requirements and work on providing solutions on those  

 

 

Educational qualifications

CA/CPA/MBA or equivalent post graduation/ diploma with minimum 4 years of relevant work experienceCourses or background knowledge in US regulatory frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the Banking industry is advantageous.Banking domain training and certifications

Work experience

5-8 years of work experienceGood knowledge of Axiom ,US Regulatory reports, Data Governance, Data Integrity, business processes, risk & controls testing with reference to financial and banking domain

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

Mandatory knowledge on Axiom & Workiva(Must)Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio, PDF and MS PowerPoint

Preferred technical & functional skills

Team oriented and collaborative approach with an ability to manage smaller teamsExcellent presentation skillsExercise professional judgment and seize business opportunities
