Assistant Manager

The position in discussion is with the Learning and Development team at KGS.  The team is 30+ strong members aligned to specific businesses.

L&D at KGS provides holistic employee development through a well-structured learning and development process. We follow a gold standard approach for learning initiatives across the platform.

The final goal of Learning and Development is to contribute to the overall success, long-term sustainability and profitability of an organization. This is done by increasing productivity, decreasing need for supervisions and reducing turnover through the development of employees by creating learning and training opportunities. 

  • Manage overall technology learning portfolios for Tax Tech
  • Work closely with the KGS business leaders, establish networks and build relationships with stakeholders and team members
  • Launch & drive technology certifications to build and enhance capability (for e.g.: Alteryx, UiPath, Data bricks, etc.)
  • Set up and manage learning labs for practical, hands-on technology training
  • Collaborate with onshore L&D team to learn best practices and deploy technology learning initiatives
  • Own the training delivery end-to-end and manage the training calendars; drive nominations through internal communication and interface with training delivery partners and other internal KGS process stakeholders to make this possible
  • Drive BU specific accreditations to facilitate technical training programs and business interviews ( e.g. Train the trainer, Presentation Skills, interviewing accreditation Program, Mentoring COE)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of learning data and metrics. (e.g. CPE processing and Gurus @work certificate)
  • Enhance learning efficiency through process excellence practices, including the creation of dashboards and data-driven solutions
  • Drive Org level programs for their BU’s e.g. Excalibur, MPower, PD/PE etc.
  • Act as a point of contact for learners and managers, ensuring smooth participation and feedback collection
  • Responsible for monitoring the timely completion of each training task to ensure the smooth and effective execution of training programs within KGS, including overseeing the closure of training project tasks
  • Track training budgets and utilization
  • Managing the Learning & Development (L&D) mailbox and responding promptly to any inquiries from the business, and internal teams
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline/ specialization from an accredited university or college 
  • 10 - 12 years of overall work – experience in Learning and Development
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is preferred
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills 
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Exposure to Technology learning domains (eg: cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, ERP tools) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, project management and analytical skills required
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to make day to day decisions with minimal supervision
