Roles & responsibilities

We are recruiting for the Assistant Manager position in the UK Innovation Incentives and Reliefs team.

Working as Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

•Leading highly-technical interactions with clients' senior technical architects and software developers to develop a comprehensive understanding of the projects undertaken and identify how aspects of projects meet the R&D Guidelines.•Writing (and in due course, peer-reviewing) compelling technical project narratives to bring out the key technical factors of client projects to substantiate R&D claims.•Application of advanced problem-solving skills and critical thinking in project execution and delivery.•Providing assistance in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.•To possess a keen desire to adapt and flex the existing conceptual knowledge in computer science to different software engineering topics.

Educational qualifications

•Bachelor of engineering or post-graduate degree, ideally in computer science or information technology, along with around 7 years of IT industry experience in a software design / development role.•Around 4 years of work experience in a similar UK R&D tax advisory role for software engineering claims.
