Assistant Manager - Data Solution Architecture

KPMG is currently seeking a Assistant Manager, Data Solution Architecture to join our Data Strategy & Operations organization. This role is responsible for providing data architecture roadmaps/solutions for the data projects for consumption by stakeholders and system owners or other interested parties.

Mandatory Skills

• Working knowledge and experience with metadata management, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Lake and Analytical platforms 
• Experience with technologies like ex: Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Databricks, a, Informatica MDM/DQ/Test Data Mgmt/Data Masking, Collibra is preferred
• Strong technical knowledge across various disciplines to resolve complex infrastructure integration issues and problems and interface with multiple vendors to coordinate resolution 
• Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority. Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work. 
• Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities 

 

• Lead discussions with business stakeholders, across data strategy organization, the functions and IT for enabling relevant data capabilities 
• Identify the best design for a data solution for data supply chain projects, factoring in performance, cost effectiveness, availability and operability
• Evaluate the current architecture, including data transformation and ELT/ETL practices, and develop action 
• Lead and participate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation following the firm’s information security, data safety, and encryption protocols
  Provide input on the overall Data Strategy Program for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the firm
• Ensure best practices design, implementation, and operational standards.

Preferred Skills

​Experience in IT environment managing data architecture including data analytics, business intelligence and reporting 

Familiarity with data science concepts
