Assistant Manager-GDC
Roles & responsibilities
Work closely with onshore audit engagement teams as assigned, performing various audit procedures in accordance with KPMG Audit methodology.
When required, act as team in charge, delegating effectively to junior staff and take responsibility for reviewing their work.
Lead audit service delivery and demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the industry specific/other permissible procedures
Build positive relationships by being able to demonstrate to the engagement team an understanding of audit procedures and the KPMG Audit Methodology
Seize business opportunities (processes/clients) within permissibility guidelines
Demonstrate ability to identify technical issues, professional scepticism and analyse and research solutions
Improve audit service delivery based on the engagement team's feedback.
Guide and coach CRC professionals as a performance manager on their career growth and provide continuous feedback for their overall professional development
Coaching, training and providing guidance to peers and juniors on any questions related to the work assigned as well as KPMG Audit Methodology

Mandatory technical & functional skills
Working knowledge under Indian / Canadian / US auditing standards along with knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP
Risk assessment, controls, substantive procedures, evaluation of audit results, verifying financial statements for compliance with accounting framework
Demonstrated team leading and supervision skills
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, especially with onshore audit engagement teams or clients
Critical thinking and good working knowledge of MS Excel
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
Chartered Accountant / ACCA
Relevant post qualification experience of 3.5 to 5 years, along with strong Articleship experience from a mid-size or a Big 4 firm (in case of a CA)
Experience in audit shared service center would be preferred
