Assistant Manager (GS requirement)
Essential skills required
- Qualifications: MBA/Master’s degree from a Tier 1/Tier 2 institutes or equivalent post-graduation/ diploma or UG with minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience
- Good understanding of the US Regulatory landscape and key regulations like CCAR/DFAST
- Good knowledge of key US regulatory reports like Y9C, FRY 14A/Q/M, 14Q, 2052a, Y15, FFIEC reports etc.
- Prior knowledge and exposure on Basel requirements is preferred
- Team and project management experience is a must
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Roles and responsibilities
We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager in the Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance Risk team. In this team, your responsibilities will be working with team of Senior Executives and Executives for executing projects on behalf of international KPMG teams and clients (onshore teams). In addition, you will be required to:
- Work with clients to assist them in projects relating to regulatory reporting and process optimization
- Lead and manage teams on end-to-end regulatory report production including but not limited to assessing regulatory requirements, ensuring conformance, data aggregation, data validation, trend analysis and submission to supervisory bodies.
- Lead on a large engagement led by a Manager/Sr. manager and be the1st level escalation for issues/concerns
- Gather and analyze client business/functional requirements and understand client’s requirements from proposed solution
- Undertake new regulation analysis assessments/hypothesis-based impact analyses for the US regulatory space, based on specific criteria
- Lead/contribute to team wide initiative
- Mentor team members and guide to achieve the project goals
