Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead cost reduction initiatives through Design-to-Cost (DTC) and VAVE strategies.
• Conduct workshops to optimize designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) and Should-Be Costing (SBC) to identify cost gaps.
• Manage product changes, ensuring cost impact, lead-time adherence, and risk mitigation.
• Support NPD activities, focusing on EV components and systems.
• Drive alternate sourcing and localization for cost savings.

General Requirements

• Experience in EV or automotive product development and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, batteries, and motor assembly systems.
• Proven ability to meet timeline-driven targets and achieve project milestones.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with VAVE and cost optimization strategies.
• Willingness to travel for business needs.
