Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Order Fulfilment Assistant 

The Order Fulfilment Assistant is responsible for data entry and completing assignments related to the processing, fulfilment, and resolution of special orders. 

Responsibility 

Essential Functions: Communicate via email with overseas vendor regarding special requests, customer orders, purchase orders, etc. Co-manage the backlog process in partnership with buyers and the backlog team. Meet with buyers on a bi-weekly basis to review order fulfilment issues, to make item setting recommendations to buyers, and to determine corrective action to remedy any out-of-stock situation on SKUs. Generate, confirm, and modify non-replenishment purchase orders Update customer orders, re-route and modify as needed to improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Proactively identify potential fulfilment challenges and make appropriate recommendations to remediate the situation. Assist with testing new systems and communicate issues and enhancements to management team. Attend and represent order fulfilment in cross functional meetings as assigned or when Supervisor, Order Fulfilment is not available. 

 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Associate’s degree or related work experience. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Relevant years retail, knowledge of supply chain preferred. 

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively under tight timelines, skilful in the execution of processes and procedures, strong organizational skills, capacity to learn computer systems, takes ownership and a possesses a strong sense of urgency, ability to be flexible and shift priorities when needed, ability to build effective partnerships with key internal partners. 

  • Strong customer service orientation 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal Travel Required.
