Assistant Manager(SA2) - ITTL Business Tester

 Roles & responsibilities 
Perform technical and functional testing of Data & Analytics applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements.
Have good work experience in ETL/Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence projects along with hands on experience in Power BI for visualization and dashboard reports.
Should be able contribute covering all possible test scenarios including the raw data modification to cover the test scenarios. Perform the first level review of the testing work papers.
Collaborate effectively with the team to understand requirements, validate assumptions, and develop solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory or Python. Capable of implementing the custom requirements within Databricks using PySpark.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
Build Azure Databricks notebooks to perform data transformations, create tables, and ensure data quality and consistency. Leverage Unity Catalog for data governance and maintaining a unified data view across the organization
Automate the testing solutions using various test automation tools or by leveraging AI. Should be able debug, optimize and performance tuning and resolve issues, if any, with limited guidance, when processing large data sets and propose possible solutions. 
Capable of debugging the PySpark and SQL code, should be able to back trace from visualization layer to transformation to source data layer.

Ensure the quality and reliability of the applications by conducting rigorous testing and validation processes.. 
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed
Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Experience in software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts
Functional and Technical  testing and good knowledge of software development life cycle 
Experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Databricks, PySpark, Python Spark SQL,SQL, Power BI and Alteryx
Proven experience in implementing ETL processes and data pipelines
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
Ability to write reusable, testable, and efficient code

Educational qualifications 
B. Tech/B.E/MCA (Computer Science / Information Technology) 
Work experience
6-8 years of work experience in relevant discipline
Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing testing domain/ GDC experience of at least a year is preferred .
