The position in discussion is with the Tax –Technology - Global Trade and Customs -  Managed Services team at KPMG Global Services (KGS) which is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.

2. We are recruiting for Assistant Manager profiles with the following responsibilities:

3. Build and orchestrate data ingestion workflows using Fabric Data Factory and Pipelines. 
4. Develop ETL/ELT processes using Dataflows, Pipelines, SQL, and Notebook transformations. 
5. Implement advanced data transformations using Fabric Notebooks (Python / PySpark). 
6. Build and optimize Fabric Warehouses, SQL endpoints, and data models for analytics consumption. 
7. Integrate Fabric datasets with Power BI using Direct Lake, Import, and DirectQuery. 
8. Schedule, monitor, and optimize pipeline performance and compute consumption. 
9. Ensure adherence to OneLake governance, security, lineage tracking, and workspace best practices.

10. Build interactive dashboards, reports, and semantic models aligned with business needs. 

11. Create optimized DAX calculations, measures, and relationships. 

12. Implement row-level security, incremental refresh, and data model optimizations. 

13. Collaborate with UI/UX and business teams to design visually compelling reports.

14. Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills

15. Able to manage offshore by providing technical guidance and working with onsite to understand business problems and provide quality solutions and architecture

1. Core Skills (Must Have)

2. Microsoft Fabric: Lakehouse, Data Factory, Warehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks, OneLake

3. Python / PySpark, SQL

4. Power BI: DAX, modeling, visualizations, Direct Lake

5. Excel: Advanced formulas, Power Query, data manipulation

6. Good-to-Have Skills
7. SharePoint (integration, Lists, content access)
8. Power Platform: 
   1. Power Apps – form apps, connectors
   2. Power Automate – workflow automation
9. Prior knowledge of Tax Compliance and Tax Systems
