Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, F&A Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated F&A domain functional reporting and
analytics lead to join our analytics delivery team supporting the finance organization.
This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making across key finance functions,
including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), financial planning and
analysis (FP&A), and procurement. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to
business stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivering actionable
insights that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
• Lead analytics delivery: Oversee the design, development, and implementation
of reporting and analytics solutions for AP, AR, FP&A, and procurement teams.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Stakeholder engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for finance
business stakeholders. Understand their requirements, address challenges, and
provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Data strategy and governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
establish robust data governance practices, ensuring data accuracy,
consistency, and security across all finance functions.
• Reporting and visualization: Develop intuitive dashboards and reports using
tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to present complex data in a
user-friendly format.
• Performance monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across
finance processes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Team leadership: Mentor and guide junior analysts within the analytics delivery
team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Process optimization: Partner with finance teams to identify inefficiencies in
existing processes and recommend data-driven solutions to streamline
operations.
Required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business analytics, or a related field;
advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant years of experience in analytics delivery, with a focus on finance
functions such as AP, AR, FP&A, or procurement.
• Strong expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced
Excel skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP)
systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and translate
complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Minimum Qualifications
· Postgraduate degree in F&A / Business Management from tier 1 institution
· Master’s degree preferred in Data Science, Business or similar.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
· Intellectual agility and analytical outlook
· Proven track record of delivering savings
· Relevant years in F&A delivery and engagement management roles with a focus on
Data driven delivery and insights
· Demonstrated experience with advanced analytics methods (predictive modeling,
clustering, regression, etc.).
· Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
