Role: Warehouse Assistant Manager Department: Supply Chain Management Grade: A6-1 Location: Region Education: Post Graduate in Materials Management / Any Graduate Experience: 9 - 12 years of experience in warehouse related activities, preferably from the retail industry. SUMMARY Overall responsible for WH operations and to Ensure transactions are as per SOP and to achieve desired service level efficiency KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receipt and Delivery of Goods On receipt of goods, ensure effective inspection, monitoring preparation of GRN’s. Interact with vendors and buyers to clarify any discrepancies. Monitoring Vendor invoices and handover of documents to Group Accounts for Invoice matching. Ensure approved goods are allocated as per allocation list received from merchandise controllers to various stores. Ensuring distribution of goods within set timelines through smooth transportation process. Maintenance of replenishment Hit ratio Accurate and timely dispatch of Consignment to Stores Home delivery Ensuring inspection of the goods prior to delivery. Scheduling of the deliveries to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Business Process To create Robust Appointment system to streamline the incoming merchandise To ensure perpetual inventory is carried out as per the schedule in the WH and variances are accounted properly. To ensure there are no major non conformity by the Internal and External Auditors To ensure proper process adherence to maintain Inventory Accuracy. Ensure proper storage & handling of merchandise to avoid / minimize damages. To ensure Safety & Security process are meticulously practiced. To ensure daily / weekly / monthly MIS are prepared, analyzed and sent to corporate within the timelines. To have improvised Housekeeping in the WH. Scrap disposals are to done within timelines, in coordination with Commercial dept. Cost To achieve prescribed average productivity per person per day To achieve WH operating cost as per P&L target People Management To recruit and train WH staff as per organization structure.
