Associate 2 - Business Tester

Roles & responsibilities 
This role requires detailed knowledge of routines and procedures in order to sufficiently perform non-routine tasks. 
Role uses initiative and independent judgement to perform work. This role applies broad theoretical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and/or work experience. 
Project Delivery
Support test plans and test scenarios preparation 
Collaborate with Dev team to setup test environment and data
Execute both manual and automated testing
Execute performance testing as defined in the test plan
Log defects uncovered during testing
Provide daily status reports
Open to explore emerging techs, gen AI in testing process Identify opportunities for application and drive higher adoption of emerging tech
Quality
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Ensure that the engagements are delivered within budget and time
Ensure that documents are prepared with no quality issue
People
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed
Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Experience/good understanding of software testing concepts
Good knowledge in automation framework process.
Hands-on experience working in Agile environment on manual testing (Business / Functional). 
Must have experience working with distributed team members.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders keeping them updated on the progress.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills).

Preferred technical & functional skills 
Familiarity with JIRA/Zephyr for tracking defects and managing test cases.
Attention to detail.
Quick learning ability and AI tools adaptability in the testing process..
Good team player.
Open to learn new tools and technologies as per business requirements.
Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends

This role is for you if you have  the below
Educational qualifications 
MBA with good understanding of accounting / auditing concepts as well as experience in audit domain/software testing ​.

Work experience​

2-5 years of work experience in relevant discipline
