Associate 2 Tax Resource Management

Support the Business

Provide accurate data analytics, forecasts and recommended actions to drive business decisions. Advisor of scheduling technology.

 

Understands and knows how to interpret data or key metrics relevant to engagement teams and/or business leaders to ensure accuracy.

 

Optimize Talent Channels

Assess size, skills of talent channels to meet demand.Multi-channel resourcing strategies to optimize  engagement team quality and improve margin.Analyzes key metrics and monitors employee pipeline and staff progress towards chargeable goals, including analysis of under/over utilized staff. Assist with cross-staffing opportunities within corresponding vertical and/or service line.Create new hire placeholders in the scheduling tool, reconcile them with actual resource names or new hires once identified or onboarded, and manage these placeholders effectively.Update information in Scheduling tool for actuals and schedule.

Source Engagements

Long-term scheduling process and advisementProactively identifying and managing ongoing shifts in engagement needs throughout the year. Proactively identifies scheduling conflicts and/or availability and communicates issues to management, as necessary.

 

Validate demand to include level and time phasing refer to prior year details for type of entity and skills requirements.

 

Support Our People

Enhance the experience and development of our people in the tax practice.Understands the skills and career goals of client facing professionals to support employee retention by conducting one-on-one check-ins. 

 

Collaborate with seniors and/or managers on staffing allocations to ensure optimal staff experience and engagement requirements / priorities are met. 

 

 Roles and responsibilities

  • Work with the RM planners for designated areas/ BUs 
  • At the direction of the RM Planner/ BU RM Lead, to actively manage and update the resource management tools/ share points with schedule updates and scheduling status.
  • Follow up with Client Facing Professionals at regular frequency to update skill details on skills tool.

  • Responsible for timely update for resource terminations, new hires, holidays, and trainings on scheduling tool.

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining information related to designated areas resources and engagements.

  • Tracking resource availability by skills, level, and area of expertise.

  • Reallocation of resources on the tool based on inputs coming from Workload balancing & Resource levelling.

  • Support with contingency planning in the event of last-minute staff absence/unavailability by suggesting alternate available resources and rescheduling the needs.

Experience Qualifications:

  • Degree / PG (B. Com., BBA, M.Com.) / MBA with 0-3 years of experience
