Associate Consultant - Manual and Automation Testing

Associate Consultant / A2 -Manual/Automation testing

Roles & responsibilities :
Develop understanding of the data solution by reviewing requirements/user stories, RDE, Execution guide and other documents provided by Project Manager for Testing to begin
Support test plans and test scenarios preparation
Collaborate with Dev team to setup test environment and data
Assist in preparation of dataset scenarios, test cases for functionality and C&A
Assist in preparation of Testing Traceability Matrix against business requirements
Responsible for execution of planned test cases
Prepare manual results according to the business requirements, compare them with the solution output to verify accuracy, and report any discrepancies to the project lead or manager.
Log Defects and Analyze the nature & severity of defect, discuss with Testing Lead/Testing Manager.
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Ensure that the engagements are delivered within budget and time
Ensure that documents are prepared with no quality issue
Provide daily status reports
Open to explore emerging techs, gen AI in testing process Identify opportunities for application and drive higher adoption of emerging tech

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Hands-on experience working in Agile environment on manual testing. 
Familiarity with ADO/JIRA/Zephyr for tracking defects and managing test cases.
Must have experience working with distributed team members.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders keeping them updated on the progress.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills) 
Possessing audit and accounting knowledge with a focus on industry experience, along with a strong understanding of data analytics and software testing concepts, will be considered an added advantage.

 

This role is for you if you have  the below
Educational qualifications 
BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science or related discipline or Masters' degree in Finance and Accounting having 2-3 years of prior experience in accounting / auditing concepts.
Good understanding of Data Analytics/software testing concepts
Relevant certification (e.g., ISTQB) is preferred
