Responsibilities

Data Protection & Security Controls

  • Implement and maintain data security controls, including data classification, encryption, DLP, and access management.
  • Monitor data movement across systems and ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
  • Support deployment and configuration of data security tools.

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and other security standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by collecting evidence and preparing documentation.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and track remediation activities.

Security Monitoring & Incident Support

  • Monitor security alerts and assist in analysis of potential data security incidents.
  • Escalate risks and vulnerabilities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SOC, IT teams, and application owners on incident response activities.

Policy & Process Management

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of information security policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection best practices across departments.
  • Participate in security awareness programs and training initiatives.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 2–4 years of experience in Data Security or Information Security.
    • Knowledge of data protection controls, DLP tools, access control, and encryption.
    • Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GRC processes.
    • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
