Associate Director

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing solution architectures with a strong focus on data, integration, and operational excellence. You will facilitate the entire SDLC, champion agile engineering and continuous delivery, and take ownership of risk and controls. Your expertise will help shape both transitional and target architectures, especially in ERP (SAP) environments and their surrounding landscapes

Key Responsibilities:

Lead solution architecture design, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.

Drive and facilitate the full SDLC, promoting agile, lean, and DevSecOps-based delivery models.

Architect and oversee integration with ERP systems (especially SAP) and related transitional architectures.

Evaluate problem statements and business requirements, translating them into technical solutions (products and services).

Apply architecture-driven and domain-driven design principles.

Utilize modeling languages and frameworks such as Archimate, UML, and the C4 model.

Ensure compliance with EA standards, controls, and SLAs in a regulated enterprise context.

Take ownership of risk and controls management throughout solution delivery.

Collaborate closely with business, integration, and data migration teams, working independently within the program/project and architecture governance framework.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 5–10 years in Solution Architecture roles, with a strong focus on data, integration, and operational excellence.

Proven experience with ERP (SAP) and architecting the surrounding landscape, including transitional architectures.

Demonstrated ability to drive solution architecture design and facilitate the SDLC.

Hands-on experience with:

- Architecture-driven design

- Domain-driven design

- Archimate modeling language

- UML

- C4 model

Experience working in agile, lean, and DevSecOps-based delivery models.

Ability to operate in a regulated enterprise context, ensuring compliance with EA standards, controls, and SLAs.

Strong analytical skills for evaluating business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

 

Soft Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Critical thinking and strong stakeholder management, especially with business stakeholders.

Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences, tailoring the message as needed.

Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently without on-site counterparts.

Strong collaboration skills with project, integration, and data migration teams.

Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment with short turnaround times.

Solid reasoning and analytical skills to support decision-making
