Position Overview:

Boeing India Indirect Supply Chain team is currently looking for a highly skilled Indirect Supply Chain Procurement, Sourcing and Contracting Associate Procurement Agent supporting the Corporate Services, Facilities, Capex, MRO, Engineering Test & Technology commodities to join their team in Bangalore, India.

Ideal candidate must possess 5-8 years of total experience with minimum 3+ Years into Procurement & Contracting and working with Global Stakeholders, handling Facilities, Corporate Services, Capex, MRO, and Engineering Test & Technology commodities.

This will be an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand Indirect Supply Chain delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

The ideal candidate shall have desired to work in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Candidate is required to be flexible to be able to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require to do occasional travel. Candidate having prior International/Global experience and working with diverse groups of people and cultures.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency and determination in managing complex Corporate Services, Research & Development projects at all project phases

  • Provide oversight and proactive management of supply and demand, schedules, delivery and financial performance

  • Ability to understand different Statement of Work (SOW) and delivery models in contracting (Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Cost Incentive, Cost Sharing, etc.)

  • Lead cross-functional teams to create long term value following sourcing procedures, policies, governance and monitor supplier performance.

  • Support development of category strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives for assigned categories in collaboration with Category Manager.

  • Ability to develop and evaluate commercial models (Total Cost of Ownership, Buy vs Build vs Lease) to support sourcing recommendations to meet cost optimization targets.

  • Lead the negotiation of Pricing and Contract terms and conditions with full competence and decision making for assigned categories, in alignment with Enterprise approved sourcing and negotiation strategies.

  • Ability to draft and structure Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Contracts, SOW and commercial schedules in collaboration with Business Stakeholders.

  • Deliver measurable cost savings, risk reduction and service improvements across assigned categories through planning and execution of sourcing, bid support, supplier management and risk management activities.

  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers and ensure required performance and contractual obligations are met, while incorporating innovative improvement initiatives.

  • Strong team player with willingness to collaborate in a diverse team environment and ability to demonstrate skills in critical reasoning, analytics and process design & development.

Core Skills & Competencies:

  • Shortlisted candidates must have hand-on experience in managing commodities like; Corporate Services, Facilities, Capex, MRO, and Engineering & Technology (Commercially Off The Shelf parts, Build to print of PCB & Sub – Assemblies).

  • End-to-End Sourcing Execution: Lead RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and award recommendations in line with approved sourcing strategies and governance.

  • Commercial & Contract Negotiation: Negotiate Pricing, Commercial terms, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), Risk evaluation, and Contractual Legal Terms, not limited to Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, Data Privacy, Cyber security & Data protection across commodities assigned.

  • Contract & Supplier Management: Draft, Award and Manage contracts, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and supplier performance through SLAs, KPIs, and periodic governance reviews.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner effectively with Facilities, Finance, Legal, and Business Stakeholders to deliver timely sourcing outcomes.

  • Risk & Compliance Awareness: Ensure compliance with industry standard practices.

  • Analytical & Delivery Focus: Demonstrate analytical skills to support supplier market and offer insights (like market size, projected growth, competitors, industry trends, estimated ROI) with the ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives and deliver results within timelines.
