About Position / Position Summary

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly performing versatile software developer to join the Product Systems build team. The Product Systems build team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and in-house software applications supporting our engineering/manufacturing teams. The job requires working within an inclusive team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops software solutions to meet end user's requirements. Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools. Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies. Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraints.
• Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to Interact with peers and customers.
• The Job requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently.
• The Job requires working within an inclusive team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Computer Science fundamentals (i.e. algorithm design, data structures, numerical stability, floating point math).
• Experience in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (Python preferably)
  • Good to have basic skills: C#, C++, C
• Exposure to CAGD (Computer Aided Geometry Design).
• Linux / UNIX system programming and system administration experience.
• Experience with CAD/CAM programming.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

• Knowledge of DevOps, Java (with spring boot) and Cloud computing.
• Eye for user-focused design and UI/UX.
• Problem Solving on Automation.
• Experience/Academics in Aerospace domain, is a strong advantage.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5+ years' related work experience or master’s degree with 4 + years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
