Job Purpose and Impact

• The Associate Professional, Application Development job maintains, integrates and implements routine software applications within the organization. Under close supervision, this job performs basic software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.

Key Accountabilities

• APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Maintains routine application configurations to meet user and business requirements while supporting development of improvements to standard and basic application support processes and procedures.
• APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Supports the execution of programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases.
• USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Maintains effective communication channel with users and responds to standard and routine application support requests and needs.
• APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts basic and less complex application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
• STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborates with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers and business partners to help ensure configurations align with project goals.
• INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Analyzes assigned incident tickets and user requests.
• VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Performs supporting activities to assist with software vendors relationships and contracts.

Qualifications

• No minimum years of relevant experience required. Typically reflects 2 years or more of relevant experience.
