Audit Manager

Exciting opportunities to join a fast-growing Internal Audit function at the prestigious London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). 

LSEG is a diverse and truly global organisation which has grown materially in 2021, primarily through the acquisition of Refinitiv. Additionally, the strategic partnership with Microsoft enables LSEG to innovate as a leading provider of data services in the Financial Services industry.  

As part of LSEG Internal Audit, you will have the opportunity to provide assurance and insights on Group’s central functions (such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, People etc) as well as business areas such as Operations, Data and Analytics, Markets, and LSEG Microsoft Partnership. In line with the Group’s expansion, Internal Audit’s scale is expanding too with a range of highly experienced audit professionals joining the function to complement our outstanding existing team as we build an Internal Audit function fit for LSEG’s new era.

Role Purpose 

  • Works as part of a global team of auditors in Corporate Functions to successfully complete audits which provide impactful audit reports, assurance and contribute to improving the control environment. 
  • Proactively contribute to audit team work, team meetings and independently drive audit walkthrough conversations with business stakeholders. 
  • Independently complete audit testing, deliver work papers, draft issue and report content for your section to time and quality whilst meeting all methodology requirements. Proactively contribute to scoping of reviews. 
  • Provide input to the Audit Director and Senior Audit Manager on any changes or risks that you have identified in the area that you are responsible with recommendations for changes to audit plan for both the quarterly refresh and the annual plan (inclusions and exclusions) with drivers. 

 

Role Responsibilities 

  • Drives the audit plan optimally to quality and within budget. 
  • Supports junior auditors and uses active coaching and supervision to ensure quality as well as adhering to Internal Audit’s methodology. 
  • Supports audit director and senior audit manager in delivering internal audit engagements. 

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Recognised Internal Auditing (IIA / CIA) or Accounting Qualification. May be Part Qualified. 
  • 5+ years proven experience required in internal audit, compliance assurance and/ or controls testing.
  • Understanding of the internal audit cycle (e.g. planning, fieldwork, reporting and issue follow up)
  • Experience in a fast-paced international organisation would be advantageous 
  • Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills 
  • Continuous improvement attitude
