Role Description:

Automation Test Engineer Overview We’re looking for an Automation Test Engineer to ensure quality across microservices, APIs, and front-end applications in a financial environment. You’ll build automation tests, drive contract testing, and enhance CI/CD-driven quality pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs and UIs. • Implement contract testing. • Design API test suites using tools like Bruno, Postman, Rest Assured, integrated with CI/CD. • Build end-to-end and UI tests with Playwright. • Execute integration, regression, and system testing for financial services. • Collaborate with developers and DevOps to advance shift-left testing practices. Required Skills • 3+ years in test automation within financial services or fintech. • Proficient in Playwright, Bruno, Postman • Proficient in a contract testing tool (eg Pact). • Strong experience with an object-oriented programming language, e.g. Java (preferred), C# • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI). • Familiarity with Docker, SQL, and event-driven systems. Soft Skills • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive. • Clear communicator and team player in Agile teams. • Passionate about automation, reliability, and quality excellence.
