About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Lead to drive test automation strategies in application modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cognizant Intelligent Test Scripter, Ready API, and ALM Octane, ensuring seamless automation and quality assurance in modernized applications. You will lead automation initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize testing frameworks for efficiency and scalability.

Educational Background : Masters/Professional Degree

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead automation testing efforts in application modernization projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
•    Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cognizant Intelligent Test Scripter.
•    Perform API testing using Ready API, validating integrations and functionality.
•    Manage test cases, defects, and reporting using ALM Octane.
•    Define and implement automation strategies aligned with modernization goals.
•    Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure quality assurance.
•    Conduct performance, functional, and regression testing to validate modernized applications.
•    Optimize automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.
•    Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the testing team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
•    Strong experience in automation testing and test script development.
•    Expertise in Cognizant Intelligent Test Scripter, Ready API, and ALM Octane.
•    Hands-on experience in application modernization projects.
•    Knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.
•    Experience with API testing, functional testing, and regression testing.
•    Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience in Application Modernization projects.
•    Experience with other automation tools like Selenium or performance testing tools like JMeter.
•    Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
•    Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
•    ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
