Business Analyst - AM

Job Summary

The Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the project stakeholders including customers and end-users. Should work closely with business units, subject matter experts, pathfinders, and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements, and manage the development effort to completion. This role will be with the KPMG Global Services Consulting team - Advisory Technology (AT).

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end business analyst responsibilities while acting as a lead business analyst on a project
• Work closely with on-shore Project Managers/ Business Analysts in building BRDs, Business Case Documents, Project Trackers, Cost Estimates, and record MOMs.
• Work in conjunction with Technical SMEs to gain business and technical insight to generate Functional Requirements and Non-Functional Requirements.
• Create and manage Jira tickets with reference to product features.
• Define project scope; identify, manage & control changes to scope and ensure alignment with product roadmap
• Develop materials required to support future state execution (detailed process flow diagrams, job aids etc.)
• Takes initiative and ownership. Proactive, results-oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines.
• Participate in daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives while working as a liaison between the stakeholders/clients and scrum team
• Present to project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and Executive Leadership, as needed
• Assist with internal technology needs
• Seek and  build relationships to enhance delivery and to better understand, identify, and work through issues across the practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, or related field. Also, MBA/PGDM from reputed B-schools
• CBAP certification is preferred

 

Skills

• Should have end-to-end IT business analyst experience (Requirements elicitation, documentation to implementation experience, client demo, UI/ UX knowledge)
• Strong documentation experience using Microsoft Products: Excel, Word, PPT, Project.
• Domain – IT/ CIO Advisory/ IT Consulting/ Application Development/IT Product development and Cloud
• BA experience of 6-8 years. Total exp not more than 10 years
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum way of working
• BTech + MBA (nice to have). Also CBAP certification is nice to have
• UK Shift (2 PM to 11 PM)
• Candidates from other Big 4 and top IT consulting firm
• Project Management experience is a plus
