Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Procurement 

Responsibilities 

Purchase Order Management  

• Issue Purchase Orders: Generate Purchase Orders based on demands or Purchase Requisitions received from the engineering or planning teams.  

• Validate Demand: Ensure the accuracy of demand through the SAP system.  

• Order Acknowledgment & Fulfilment: Drive order acknowledgment and fulfilment as per the Need Date or Promise Date by closely collaborating with suppliers, logistics, and fulfilment teams.  

Coordination and Communication  

• Supplier Interaction: Work closely with suppliers to resolve any outstanding invoices and material discrepancies, ensuring timely fulfilment to avoid shipping delays.  

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various business functions such as Warehouse, Sourcing, Quality, and Finance to facilitate smooth operations.  

Reporting and Analysis 

• KPI and SLA Adherence: Maintain adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as mandated by the business.  

• Prepare Reports: Responsible for preparing and reporting on personal KPIs and SLAs, ensuring transparency and accountability.  

Non-Catalog Part Management  

• Manage non-catalogue requests 

• Updating requests with necessary details such as contract numbers, unit numbers, approvers, and delivery locations.  

• Collaborating with category managers to understand supply chain strategies.  

• Issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and evaluating alternatives based on supplier quotes.  

• Follow-Up and Coordination  

• Weekly Reviews: Conduct weekly reviews of open and aging requests, following up with the field team as necessary.  

• Escalation Management: Follow the defined escalation path for unresolved issues.  

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• University graduate in any discipline. 

• Procurement Experience: Rich procurement experience, especially in the Energy, Power, Aviation, or Automobile industries. 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Language Proficiency: Sound knowledge of English, both written and oral.  

• SAP Knowledge: Practical knowledge of SAP is essential.  

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.  

• Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and a team player mentality.  

• Understanding of Sourcing & Procurement: Basic understanding of sourcing and procurement processes in the manufacturing industry, with experience in handling procurement of direct materials preferred.  

• MS Office Proficiency: Basic experience in MS Office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook."
