Job Description

The Application Analyst is responsible for providing application support to Broadridge brokerage house clients using the Dataphile platform. The Application Analyst will investigate, research, document, and provide timely status updates and resolution to client inquiries through the Remedy ticket system.  The Application Analyst is expected to be able to communicate and team effectively with personnel in the Product, Development, Technical Services and Operations departments of Broadridge in the course of resolving issues or documenting development requests.   The successful applicant will be highly analytical with a strong aptitude for problem solving.  The Application Analyst will also be expected to participate in special projects and initiatives, such as system conversions, new product roll-outs and training for clients or training within Client Support. In addition, the Application Analyst is expected to be able to construct basic system queries.

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Assist clients by researching system problems and finding practical solutions to meet their requirements
• Provide guidance to other team members in researching product issues and complex system queries
• Determine appropriate action to resolve issues and forward recommendations both internally and to clients
• Understand and mitigate the impact of application changes on business processes
• Research, document and accurately complete assigned Remedy tickets within designated timelines
• Work effectively in a team environment and provide assistance as directed in resolution of production issues impacting clients
