HR plays a critical role in shaping workforce readiness by aligning capability, learning and leadership strategies with business priorities, technology evolution and organisational transformation. This role sits at the intersection of technology, people capability and organisational change, with a strong focus on building AI-ready, future-fit technology talent at scale.

Impact and contribution: The Capability, Learning, Talent and Leadership Manager is accountable for defining and strengthening the AI and technology skilling strategy for CBA India, ensuring our technology workforce has the skills, mindsets and leadership capabilities required to deliver current and future business outcomes. The role leads the end-to-end design, execution and evolution of AI and tech capability programs, while also contributing to broader organisational design, process, culture and change initiatives. Working closely with local and global leaders, the role ensures learning investments translate into measurable capability uplift, improved engineering effectiveness and business impact.


Roles & Responsibilities:

AI & Technology Capability and Learning

  • Partner with technology and business leaders to identify current and future AI, data and technology capability needs, translating strategy into clear, outcome-driven skilling roadmaps.

  • Lead the design and delivery of AI and technology learning solutions across domains such as AI/ML, data, cloud, engineering, automation, cyber and emerging technologies.

  • Consult on and design modern learning solutions including hands-on labs, simulations, hackathons, communities of practice, mentoring, academies and on-the-job learning.

  • Stay current with the evolving AI and technology landscape, ensuring learning content, platforms and methodologies remain relevant, practical and aligned to enterprise tech strategy.

  • Drive end-to-end capability solutions including needs analysis, solution design, vendor selection, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement.

  • Identify and partner with internal SMEs, global teams and external providers to deliver high-impact AI and tech learning experiences.

  • Leverage learning data, skills insights and capability metrics to measure effectiveness, inform decisions and continuously improve tech skilling outcomes.

  • Establish and mature AI and technology skilling frameworks, processes and governance, supporting upskilling, reskilling and cross-skilling at scale.

  • Design engaging, digital-first learning experiences using modern learning platforms, AI-enabled tools and experiential methodologies.

OD, Leadership, Culture and Change

  • Partner with business and HR leaders to understand organisational priorities, shaping capability and leadership solutions that support transformation.

  • Support organisational design, culture and change initiatives, including workforce transitions, role evolution and new ways of working.

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership and behavioural capability programs, aligned to global values and future leadership expectations.

  • Act as a trusted strategic HR partner, building strong relationships and influencing outcomes across senior stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage projects that drive process improvements, cultural alignment and sustainable change.

  • Support enterprise change initiatives including technology transformation, talent development and redeployment.

Essential skills:

  • 7–10 years’ experience in technology, AI or digital capability development, learning strategy or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of AI, data and modern technology domains, with the ability to translate technical needs into effective learning solutions.

  • Proven experience consulting with senior leaders to design capability solutions aligned to business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver large-scale, modern learning programs using blended and experiential approaches.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.

  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience using insights to improve learning effectiveness.

  • Strong project management skills and comfortable in handling multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-starter with high adaptability and a collaborative mindset.

  • Relevant technical, AI, cloud or learning certifications desirable.


Qualifications: Graduation or Post Graduation from Tier 1 Management School (Preferred)
