Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and execute category management strategies for Electrical & Mechanical Components, while collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders (specifically Program Sourcing, SCE, SQE & Materials) to align sub-category strategies with overall business requirements

• Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and competitive analysis within the sub-categories.

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers located in Central Region (India & Europe).

• Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize cost and quality, and drive sustainability and diversity efforts

• Monitor and analyze category performance metrics and implementing improvements

• Evaluate and select suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, reliability and risk mitigation

• Drive Sourcing efficiencies, cost savings, and AP cash generation within the scope of suppliers

• Use judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Ability to prioritize information for data analysis.

• Use technical experience and analytical thinking. Use multiple internal and external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions

Required Qualifications

• This role requires 6+ years of experience in the Sourcing & Commodity Management.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is mandatory
