Basics of Sales
• Recruit and develop channel partners to achieve or exceed sales targets. This may include recruiting prospective partners, managing and prioritizing channel development opportunities, sales training, making joint sales calls, partner enablement and support activities. • Manage administration of channel program including new program development, opportunity registration, channel conflict, and KPI compliance. • Develop, build and report on the pipeline of new business opportunities using specified methods, including cold calling, staying in touch with existing customers, prospects and channel reps. • Ensure all activities are well documented and current in CRM • Direct profit and loss responsibility for all channel activities • Travel to different cities to appoint channel partners • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs. • Objectively determine alignment between customer’s needs and our product. • Build and maintain healthy relationships with partners, customers and key accounts. • Meeting sales targets of multiple offerings • Ensuring customer satisfaction leading to higher sales conversions and retention • Gathering consistent feedback from the market for existing offerings and insights on competitor moves as feedback for product enhancements
