Your Role and Responsibilities
The experienced Cognos & OpenPages developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business reports using IBM Cognos and developing new solutions using IBM OpenPages. This individual will work as part of the CIO Governance, Risk, and Compliance Platforms team and will work closely with business product managers, platform engineers, and solution architects to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience developing reporting solutions using Cognos Analytics, including complex report development, data visualizations, report scheduling, data modeling, and dashboard development. They must also be familiar with basic application development and workflow design
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Mastery of Cognos Analytics, with experience in complex report development. Proficient in creating queries, custom data objects and calculations, report templates, conditional logic and formatting, data visualization, drill-through reports, burst reporting, and scheduling.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Experience using Framework Manager and data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript.
- Experience with IBM OpenPages or similar GRC platforms
- Familiar with a broad range of programming languages (especially Java, Python, and JavaScript) and frameworks
- Experience working within software development teams, with a focus on promoting teamwork, standardization, and innovation.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with the Watsonx platform. Complex problem-solving experience.
- Experience in microservice architecture and development
- Leadership experience within software development teams, with a focus on promoting teamwork, standardization, and innovation
