Full Stack Software Developer

KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is seeking a highly skilled Associate, Full Stack Software Developer to join our pioneering KDN AI. This role is crucial for developing and deploying advanced AI solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Reinforcement Learning.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to rapidly build AI solution prototypes by evaluating technologies, adjusting systems for improved efficiency, and developing interactive user interfaces, under the guidance of senior team members
2. Support development of AI prototypes using Agile, and DevOps methodologies of complex systems, and solutions, under the guidance of senior team members using RESTful APIs and web services using Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
3. During development, leverage software engineering best practices, including aligning to coding standards, responding to code reviews, source control management (Git, BitBucket, or others), and leveraging continuous integration and continuous delivery systems (Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, or others)
4. Support documentation of processes, code, and technical workflows to support knowledge sharing and project continuity; collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure solutions meet client requirements
5. Collaborate with business and client stakeholders, developers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to receive feedback and integrate changes into AI solution development and prototyping
6. Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with both virtual and face-to-face interactions utilizing structured approaches to solving problems, managing risks, documenting assumptions, and communicating results
7. Use AI accelerators to speed prototype build, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Lovable
8. Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Educational qualifications

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

Work experience

•Minimum 3 years of recent professional experience in full-stack development experience, with a preference for AI solutions development 

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

•Experience with Full Stack development, including modern UI and backend coding fundamentals (JavaScript core best practices, object-oriented design, data structures, API design, complex problem solving, etc.)•Proficiency in frontend and backend tools and frameworks (e.g. HTML, CSS, React, Angular, Flask, Django, FastAPI) for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional applications 

Preferred technical & functional skills

•Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines  preferred
