Associate – Global Business Operations (GBO) Sentinel Service Desk

 

Global Business Operations operates (GBO) supports KPMG’s global risk applications and as a department is responsible for management of the business processes connected to each application, while also serving as product owner.

Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to provide operational support and data maintenance of the Sentinel risk application as a member of the GBO Sentinel Service Desk.

  • Perform daily entity data maintenance tasks to ensure a high-level of entity data quality as part of the independence process
  • Utilize external data sources to validate entity data and family tree information
  • Perform periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly) data maintenance and reporting activities in line with risk policies and procedures
  • Attend Sentinel service desk meetings to keep aware of any business and/or application changes
  • Provide status as required by Sentinel Service Desk leadership
  • Escalate any issues requiring management-level attention or resolution
  • Provide suggestions on process improvements and application enhancements based on activities performed and trends in services being provided.
  • Work with the Business Team to analyze, execute and support business requirements.  Clearly communicate complex technical application issues to Business Team and other stakeholders.
  • Help to manage data integrity processes to ensure the highest quality over standard current data. 
  • Assist customers by responding to inquiries, handling escalations, and working with other team members to resolve cases in ServiceNow 
  • Update knowledge materials to support changes to support processes or risk policies
  • Train new team members on how to complete the required activities of the role

Required Qualification:

  • 2-5 years of experience working in an information systems service desk or business operations support desk
  • Strong experience on ServiceNow tool
  • Familiarity with Big4 risk processes preferred
  • Experience documenting procedures and other knowledge base materials
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel, basic experience with remainder of Microsoft Office suite
  • Data maintenance and analysis skills preferred
  • Critical thinking, problem solving skills a must
