Performance Tester - Consultant

The Role-

We are seeking an experienced and skilled resource having 5-8 years of IT experience with expertise in Performance Testing and should also have below technical skills:

• Experience and Knowledge of performance testing and analytical tools. 

• Experience in capacity panning with in depth knowledge of identifying and debugging application/infrastructure performance problems.

• Experience on monitoring tools, corelating and analysing test results to logical conclusions.

• Contribution to design and implementation of framework(s)

• Performance Tester with JMeter

• Good to have: Gatling, K6 and LoadRunner

• Identify/validate test objectives and define test approach for its implementation to align tests by interpreting business requirements.

• Implement test approach with workload modelling and develop scripts using required techniques.

• Test executions and understand issues for troubleshooting.

• Able to articulate, flag and communicate risk to the business.

• Review test results and establish hypothesis to draw conclusions by providing in-depth result interpretation.

• Execute the tests in multiple environments as per the plan.

• Must be flexible to work on any project requirements and work timings.

• Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills to executive management on testing activities and issues.

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

• Test issues troubleshooting and guidance to peers and juniors.

• Should be highly experienced in automated testing experience across a variety of IT technology platforms (ideally banking and finance applications)

• Confident in developing test conditions from user stories, technical designs and specifications.

• Takes time to learn about other people and their experiences and how to apply this learning.

• Shares experiences with others to assistant their learning and understanding.

• Demonstrates curiosity and open mindedness to new ideas approaches and perspectives.

• Actively engages with others to address their views/concerns.

• You are a team member with passion and desire to learn on the job.

• You have excellent skills in acquiring and analysing test data.

• Ability to assess testing risks and then estimate, plan, and prioritise tasks accordingly.
