Role Responsibilities:

• Ideal candidate should have good knowledge and be willing to research new solutions based on the GTS requirements.
• Capable of independently analysing client requirement and configure GTS  as per requirement
• Clear understanding of integration touchpoints with SAP Sales & Distribution / Material management / Finance. 
• Understand Compliance Management (SPL Screening, Embargo Checks, Legal Control), Customs Management (Product Classification, Declarations, Electronic Communication), and Risk Management (Preference Processing, Letter of Credit)
• Production Support & Incident Management
  • Monitor and resolve day-to-day tickets related to SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management).
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance standards.
• Change Request & Enhancement Delivery
  • Analyse business requirements for minor enhancements and configure SAP GTS accordingly.
  • Collaborate with ABAP development and integration teams for technical fixes.
  • Validate changes through testing and coordinate deployment in production.
• Compliance & Regulatory Alignment
  • Maintain system configurations to meet global trade compliance requirements (e.g., embargo screening, license determination, customs filing).
  • Support audits and provide documentation for regulatory reviews.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with business process owners, regional trade teams, and IT support teams to prioritize and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates on open issues and change requests.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to Establish a rapport with clients and colleagues
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

 

Requirement:

• Worked on simple to complex SAP GTS configuration 
• Worked on at least 10+ enhancements or one end-to-end implementation 
• Clear understanding of integration touchpoints with SAP Sales & Distribution / Finance

 

Value-add if SAP certified 

• SAP Certified Associate -SAP Global Trade Services (Desired)

 

 

 

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Global Trade services (good to have) 

 

Experience & Background 

• B-Tech/BCA/MCA/MBA
• 3-7 years of IT industry experience.
